This stuff actually makes me not feel so bad about Kodachrome 40T going away. The film is shot with a Canon Super 8 camera. I got excellent results when filming exterior Christmas lights at night last year. If you’re at all interested in filmmaking using actual film, Super 8 is the best place to start.

This film has excellent color saturation, fine grain and is very durable with a very long storage life if stored in a cool, dark, dry place. No Longer Available Update Location close. I am now waiting for the film to be processed by This is the only color reversal made by Kodak left in Super 8 which replaced the Ektachrome 64T. Not Specified by Manufacturer. suler

If you’re at all interested in filmmaking using actual film, Super 8 is the best place to start. I had been making my first experimental Super 8 project on this stock over the fall then learned it was discontinued at the beginning of the year.

It would be better if it was Tungsten balanced because it is easier to go to the supper direction with balancing filters. This stuff actually makes me not feel so bad about Fil, 40T going away. I know from experience it has a very fine grain and produces beautiful, well-balanced color indoors and out.

It’s not cheap, and you get around 2. I used to worry about the dwindling options available in this format, but honestly, I no longer interested in using any stock other than Ektachrome D from here on out Date published: No Longer Available Update Location close.

The best part about still using film is that the products really haven’t changed much at all. Editing or even scanning from negative film is also much more difficult and costly. Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from excellent reversal film I have been using the film for home movies and when processed, I project it onto a screen with my Super 8 projector with excellent results.

The Ektachrome gives a really nice saturated look in the classic Super 8 format. We all miss Kodachrome but if you are transferring this to video I believe it looks better than Kodachrome for that use.

This is a much better stock than 64T. Write a review asedfvvvbtwsdwevcsatbcauzwevx. The sharpness of this film will surprise you.

I am excited about projecting this film on the big screen at home. It is great under low light conditions, just tell the processing lab to push process 1 or 2 stops.

I think I snatched up the last of them!
